Welcome to the second issue of eucalyptus & rose. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share another month's worth of our accepted submissions that connected us with the outdoors, inside our minds, and reminded us of the people closest to our hearts.
Over April on our Twitter account (@eucalyptuslit), we posted a 'word of the day'. You may recognize some of the themes in our May issue, including one piece that utilized multiple prompts in order to create a poem. In addition to the 'word of the day', Britain and I spent part of the month discussing making our processes more efficient, and what we could do in the future to make the magazine more interesting and engaging. We hope to be able to share those things with you all soon.
We would like to extend all our thanks to our contributors for May, as well as those who submitted. We appreciate you trusting us with your work and look forward to reading more poetry, flash fiction, and creative non-fiction for our June release.
Please feel free to browse through our May pieces and leave hearts/likes and kind comments. Have a lovely month!
