eucalyptus & rose accepts heartwarming and thoughtful fiction and creative non-fiction under 1000 words, as well as poetry that does not exceed 20 lines.
in particular, we are looking for unsent love letters, bite-size memoirs, poetry revolving around landscapes and colors, and short fiction that makes us feel fuzzy on the inside.
Please submit to us via email at: with "Submission: [TITLE]" as the subject line. We are unable to accept more than one submission/one piece of work at a time per person. You are welcome to resubmit a new piece of work once you have received a response. We aim to respond to submissions within 4 weeks.
Copy and paste your submission into the body of the email and include the word count (stories) or line count (poetry). Also, we would appreciate it if you would include a short biography in third-person to accompany your piece, as well as your Twitter handle if you have one.
Attachments will not be opened.
Please include a content warning at the top of your submission for anything that features death, loss, or other topics that may be considered sensitive.
